Habitat for Humanity foundation fix

Central Vermont Habitat for Humanity is restoring this circa 1915 home in Barre City- and it needed a reinforced foundation. Parker Construction sprayed shotcrete where the rubble foundation was compromised. Reinforced with rebar and steel mesh, the new monolithic foundation will keep the house on solid footing. Plastic temporarily covers the siding to protect the house from overspray. Shotcrete is stronger than poured concrete, and can be applied directly to the area that needs it most.

After all the renovations are complete, this will be a wonderful home for an eligible family. Parker Construction is always happy to help restore old houses into new homes!
